Docking in Toxia

My family has traveled for years, searching, hoping, wishing.... I look around the dock of the newest city in our travels, wondering if finally this would be where we would find all the answers we were looking for. I look behind me to see Wicked slowly climbing out stretching as he turns to pull his devoted wife CJ to the dock with him. Devi her normal cheery self bounces out of the boat excited. My legs still shaking from so much time at sea I look around and frown... I re-adjust the straps on my shoulders making sure my blades were still secure.. the feelings I was getting from this new city were not pleasent. Wicked approaches resting a reassuring hand on my shoulder "Vish, this is the city that many have referred us to, try not to look so uneasy" I turn to him "Look around Wicked, this does not look like its going to be easy.." he laughs softly "I know Vish, I know.. but we have to try.. we wont find the vampire that killed our parents by staying in one place." I settle back trying to reassure myself as Wicked goes to check on CJ and Devi, that maybe, just maybe this would be the place where we could finally bring peace to our family by finding our parent's killer, but somehow I knew, a deep hearted feeling, that this place, Toxian City.. would bring so much more...


Several Months later:

Sitting at the edge of her bed she holds her head in her hands... taking a deep breath she slowly stands her body aching from to many battles in the past few weeks. She slowly slides on her boots clicking each strap into place, she lifts her heavy blades and straps them onto her back. She stops and turns before walking out the door, slowly dusting off a mirror, she looks at herself, wondering if soon she would even be able to recognize herself. She turns and looks down her violent purple eyes scanning the floor, she kicks a mouse aside as she walks out the door. She turns and walks down the street and heads towards the Church, the new place her family calls home.. She keeps her pace steady almost at a jog, knowing her life was in danger as she passes every corner and dark alley never knowing when someone from the Shadows or the Pack may pop up to try and make their day...or lunch with her. Since becoming a member of the Righteous Vish and her family have trained frequently, their fighting skills increased.. CJ training as a healer and Devi training with the Omega. She shakes her head still unsure of exactly what role Devi is playing, but she trusts the Omega.

Not weeks earlier, she pledged her devotion to her family and the protection of her sweet innocent sister Devi to one of the Omega's.. Poncho. Promising that no matter what happens, she would be there to scarafice herself for her sister, even if that meant giving up her own life. Now as she continues to the Church, she wonders if she would be able to uphold her promise. Her mind racing, flashbacks... She had made foolish decisions, some of which could possibly jeopardized her family and now all she wanted to do was fix what she had screwed up. She groans softly to herself as she has a flashback of making a deal with the son of the devil Janvier. She never should of taken such moves, she should of waited to consult her family, but being the hot headed aggressive one she was she thought she could fix the situation with her swords.. sighing she realized she was wrong. Her pace slowed as she approached the church, the large wooden doors once again, as always providing sanctuary. She breathes a sigh of relief knowing that she would find her brothers and sisters of the Righteous inside and no matter what happens, they would be there to fight side by side with her. She walks in the door and looks around a smile appearing on her face as she sees Wicked and CJ talking silently in the corner with each other safe inside the church, her newest friend a sweet and gentle neko GG twitching her tail looking bored and a plethra of angels, vampires and demons alike all wearing the gold pin pledging their allegiance. She walks quickly up to GG, "Any updates?" GG lets out a quick purr and looks up hearing her dear friends voice she smiles as she shakes her head "Its been a slow day" nodding she turns to head outside to try and watch the street, scared that at any moment, her life or the life of her family would be taken from her.
