Children's Games

There are those nights in Toxia when you really wish you could sit back, forget all the violence and be a kid again. Vish laughs to herself knowing, that will never happen... or so she thought. She was dancing in Haven with her sister Devi enjoying the hard industrial rock music that bellowed from the speakers, when she saw Pickett come skipping in. Picket was a fun crazy girl and she loved her to death, a former Righteous, Picket has since turned and put her application for the Shadows, but no matter what the two girls had a mutual friendship and enjoyed each others company. She waved to Picket as she came skipping in. After a few minutes of catching up and laughing and joking, she decided to show her the new trick she had been working on. She gracefully manuvered her hands to the ground and balanced her weight as she stood doing a handstand, she started to walk around the girls on her hands. She didn't last long as Picket and Devi started laughing, she lost her balance and flopped down on to the Haven floor giggling. The next thing she new Picket asked if they wanted to play Hide and go Seek. Devi and her both just blinked and said "huh?". Picket laughed and said, "Let's play Hide and go Seek!" She turned to look at Devi and almost instantly both girls smiled and said sure!

The rules were, no going into Toxia South, no hiding in anyone's bases and if your found, your the next seeker. Picket started counting to 100 as Devi and her sprinted like there was some demon hot on their trails to go find a hiding spot. She saw Devi turn off around one corner and she made a break for the hospital to go hide in one of the empty rooms. She giggled as she was breathing heavy from her sprint hiding herself in a corner. She settled down and made herself go quiet. She couldn't stop smiling. She was having a blast and this definetly was a well needed break from all the drama that she's been dealing with. As she heard footsteps approach, she froze and tried to make herself go invisible pressing herself hard up against the wall. No whispers, No breathing, Be the all the mouse you can be. She almost made herself bust out laughing as she thought that. Then she let out a small meep as Picket skipped up to her "Tag! Your it!" She dropped her head and pouted. Man and she thought her hiding spot was good to. She immediately started counting to 100 as Picket hauled ass out the door. She smiled as she hit 100 and tore out the door to start looking. As she was running down the street she had a fellow Righteous run up to her yelling her name. She stopped and looked around.. "VISH! Are you okay?! I've seen you running, are you in danger!?" She couldn't hold back her laugh as she explained to the sweet girl that she was playing hide and go seek. She winked to her and tore off again ducking in and out of buildings and looking in all the possible hiding places. She ran around and couldn't help but laugh as she saw people watching her, knowing they thought something must be wrong to have a Righteous girl running around like a chicken with her head cut off. As she climbed up ontop of one of the roofs she jumped up and tagged Picket who was trying to shrink herself up against one of the water towers. Giggling she said "Tag! your it!" After a long giggle fit of all three girls, they decided to call off the games and head their seperate ways.

She headed back to the church and sat down on the front steps to rest, still smiling like a child that just walked away with a pillow case full of candy at Halloween. They really needed to do that more often... She smiled as she saw Jon. Then when she saw the look on his face she almost wanted to scream "Meep!!" and run and hide. She frowns as she already knows what he was going to want to talk to her about. Stupid Vampire's who wanted to eat her for lunch. She stands up and brushes her skirt off as she walks up to him... "Soooo, Whats up Boss?"
