Lunch Meat

She sits on the bench just outside the new K-Tox studies relaxed and kicked back as she thinks back on how her philosophies have changed during her presence here in Toxia. When she first came to Toxia she was hell bent on finding who her parents killers were, killing lots of vampires and walking away with her bloody swords to somewhere far far away from Toxia. She sighs as she sits and reflects how Janvier had ran off half her family from Tox, it was actually probably better this way, now she didn't have to worry about CJ and Wicked as well as Devi. Devi was now frequently out of the city with her new angel Gabriel, so truly all she had to worry about now a days was herself. Now, since being left there on her own, that she needed to move past what was now history, sure she wanted to bring justice to her parent's killers, but she now realized there was so many more people that needed her help. So now she sits a proud and strong member of the Righteous here to do what she can to try and make Toxia a better place.

As she walks along out in front of Haven she passes the usual croud that likes to hang out there. She frowns and looks away when she spots one of the towns local slussies (Slussy: A Vish term between a slut and hussy) Jadienne. She would never admit this outloud but she was glad when she heard Janvier rid her of her soap opera baby. For once she actually cheered for the Lord of Shadows. Speaking of the shadows, or used to be shadows, she trys to avoid eye contact of the vampires that just returned to town, Steven and Selene. She heard they were bad news.. Hell she had witnessed first hand what kind of damage they could do.

Earlier that day, Pix had sent her into the Ryder base to try and help after they had received reports of the Shadows doing massive amounts of damage there. When she got upstairs all she saw were Ryders slumped over and bleeding everywhere and Steve sliding his guns back into his holsters and Jan going after some girl in the corner. In her mind she wanted to say screw all this, but she knew she had to help. So she went over and tried to get Jan off the girl, when another Ryder fired at him, and then before she knew it there was all out war again, some how she had dodged all the bullets as she stood behind a near by wall. When she peaked around the corner, Janvier told her flat out to beat it. She looked up him and basically "Fuck it, I've never been good at doing what I was told anyways" and high tailed it the hell out of there. She was smart, and she knew when she was out numbered. She'll have to remember to thank Jan later for giving her a free pass.. bake him cookies or something.

She sighs as she hears Steve call out to her, she tells her self, keep walking, keeeeeep walking. But no she stops, "what do you want" he smiles back at her "dinner". She frowns, and she gets slightly aggitated as she's Devi and GG walk up. She still knew she had to fulfill her promise to Poncho to make sure nothing happened to Devi, so now she knew she couldn't walk away. It was time to step up to her A game. She smiled back at him "Well, thats lovely, but I am nobodies dinner" Steve chuckled "Well all I want is a bite..." she frowned as she told him almost growling "I only allow one person to bite me, and you sir are not him." She quickly flicked her wrists drawing her blades. "Well, Well, Well, looks like we have a fight on our hands" He pulled his whip from his belt and as she heard the whip crack and hit the ground she charged at him her blades ready to strike. After a few minutes she collapsed to the ground in pain. She hated the strength of vampires compared to hers and cursed herself for only being human as she was forced on to her feet "now now, see if you would of only listened, none of this would of happened." She smiled at him "Well, see I'm stubborn, and I don't like to be anyone's dinner" as she looked over at Devi and GG hoping to high hell they wouldn't try anything stupid. Then sighed as she heard Devi speak. Next thing she knew Devi got shot, Hawk was fighting Steve, she was being held on to by Selene.. She hated the fact that people came to her rescue more then she hated the fact that she was about to be someone's dinner. She didn't like others getting hurt for her. She sighed and agreed to let Steve bite her if they could just go ahead and get it done and over with. She didn't want anyone else falling for her.. 5 Righteous just did. So she heads off around the corner, she frowns as she looks back and sees Jortek come running. She really wishes she could just hit herself in the head right now and say this isn't happening. A few minutes passes as she stands there being restrained by Selene as now Edmond and Jortek request to have Steve let her go. She blinks as she watches the two walk away, apparently agreeing that as long as Steve dosn't kill her and only wants a bite, no more blood will be shed. What! Wait a minute! Now she really wants to hit her self in the head and see if this is actually happening. She tries to step back and pull free from Selene, but Steve was over her before she managed to break away brushing her hair to the side. She tried to fight him off, but his strength and speed beat hers. She felt the teeth sink into her neck and this was in no way as pleasurable as her last encounter. She closes her eyes and forces the vampires vision's out of her head as he continues his feed growing weak. She really wished that someone was there to save her and just as Steve let her go, she opened her eyes to see Pieter. She wanted to smile, she was so happy to see him, but instead she felt weak and and wanted to vomit from the expierance she just went thru. She ran off to go check on Devi, immediately concerned for her welfare.. after she was reassured that Devi was okay, she watched with concern as she saw Pieter approach Steve. She shouldn't be concerned for Pieter, knowing he was a shadow, but she cared for him and they had actually grown quite close to him lately. Nobody knew it.. She sighed as she walked up to him concerned that he would be angry at her... lowering her head.. who knew what was going to happen next.
