A Dirty Old Feather

Not just a few days ago she walked up to Dev and Shaynee outside the pit.. She sighed. She strolled up and listened to the conversation not wanting to make any acknowledgment to Dev.

Not a week earlier Dev had come after her as she anticipated she would. She did not go easily, she fought long and hard for almost an hour before she grew to weak to continue on. It simply made her realize more training was necessary. As he wrapped his belt around her neck she growled, even though she was over powered at this moment she always knew that there would come a time that she could have hers. He dragged her across town in an attempt to take her and show her what the Righteous do when someone messes with their own. As he pulled her towards the dungeon she heard the quick steps of Jason behind her. She was glad to see him, but she was also ready to take her punishment. She had grown stronger over the last months, she know longer felt weak mentally or physically and felt that no matter what he did to her, she would be able to overcome it. A few short minutes later she found herself with Dev’s gun pointed to her head, Dev threatening to shoot her if the others didn’t leave. She stood still not saying a word but showing no sign of weakness either. Jason was smart, he took one of Dev’s fellow Righteous. A life for A life.. it worked.. The three of them strolled out to find the floods.. oh joy..

Shortly there after one of her sisters Rizal had encountered Dev. She strolled up to check on her and seized the opportunity to use this against him. She dragged him off away from everyone else and had a little talk with him pulling a feather from his wings and giving it to Shaynee.

She looked over to Shaynee now who was dangling that same feather in front of Dev taunting him with it. Dev was uncomfortable and kept shifting about. This was ridiculous. Feathers meant nothing to her, be it angel or not. Rumor was Angel feathers held a certain power. She had once held the power of the divine as well and it did nothing for her. She saw Shaynee drop the feather and took it from the ground. Several minutes later Dev had given Shaynee another feather as she turned and headed for the pit. She looked down over the gates and dropped the feather she originally took from Dev into the lava. There no more feather drama. It was time to move on. She had more important things to do then worry about silly Angels or Angel feathers.
