When it Rains it Floods

As she sat up on the highest point of the ramp that lead to the roof of the pit, she looked down thru the holes as she leaned back and relaxed watching the water move slowly higher.. It has rained for weeks, and now.. the water was more then waist deep. Her eyes cut to the left as she noticed a makeshift raft start to come by..it was occupied by several Ryders. She shook her head and then rested it back up against the wall. The water stunk of rotting corpses and toxic slug. She had heard reports of people getting ill from just being it. Well.. she for one was not going to let something as simple as water make her ill.. so she stayed, up high.. avoiding the water at all costs, keeping to the pit, unless someone came along and offered her a ride. As she relaxed on the ramp, the sound of the water slowly splashing against the objects caused her eyes to slowly close and loose herself to her dreams.

She walked up slightly out of breath, she was sick and tired of chasing this man that had slapped her ass the previous night and rode off. In her eyes this was simply unacceptable. She walked up to him as she pulled her guns to her from the shadows. He thought he lost her, he was wrong…. She raised her gun to his head and keeps it mere inches from him “If you run again, I pull the trigger.” She sighed as she heard “AHH!!” and watched as he took off, she shook her head and just started firing going after him…All she heard in the background was a whiny cat by the name of Mei screaming after her “VISH STOP!” After emptying about 2 clips he finally dropped to the grounds and gave up. She started to walk up to him and as she did Mei decided to come running over…

“Vish, leave him alone, He didn’t mean any harm.” She simply looked at the kitten and without any infliction in her voice replyed “Mind your own business Mei, he knew it was coming.” It was at this time that her fellow shadow sister came up. Quiet immediately heard what was going on a and a low growl emited from her throat. Mei felt the need to continue on her ramble after pulling her weapons out “It IS my business, Let him go, Or I will Kill you. Let me Deal with him” She simply looked at Mei and stated “What pat him on the head and go “bad you..bad” I don’t think so.”

She stepped beside the man and wrapped a leash around his neck that she fetched from her back pocket tying it into place. She had business that she wanted to settle with this man. Quiet was simply smiling at Mei “We will not negotiate while you have weapons drawn kitty.” Mei ignored her and just kept talking “I can’t let you take him. Oh I am not negotiating..It’s this, let him go, or I kill you.” She simply stood there with no hint of fear or emotion on her face as Quiet answered for her with a smile “neither am I. Do you want me to draw mine?”

Mei looked at her once again ignoring Quiet “What’s it going to be Vish?” She let her eyes dart from Mei to Quiet who was growing agitated from being ignored.. It was at this time that she decided to step things up a little bit, negotiations bored her and she was in no mood for idle chit-chat. She looked over at the man and walked up behind him and placed her blade around his head and up against his neck and simply stated “Your taunting me Mei, and I don’t like that.” Mei growled as she aimed her own weapons at her and started to fire..

She darted and immediately called her guns front he shadows once again as she quickly snapped her blades into place. She was always ready and would never be taken advantage of.. Every situation she approached she knew could end badly… especially with her being the only human in the shadows. She refused to show weakness. A few minutes later Mei collapsed on to the beach into the soft sand as she simply let her eyes fall over the body and moved back on to her original target leaving her there to fend for herself.

She walked up and retrieved her leash from Quiet, nodding in appreciation for watching the man for her while she dealt with the pesky cat. She yanked hard on the leash and drug the man up into the pit. She shoved him up against the whipping pole and quickly tied his hands into place. The man was either ignorant or just plain dumb as he continued to mouth off “If you wanted to see my arse you only had to ask you know..” She ignored him as she mad sure his hands were bound tight and then quickly removed his weapons tossing them to the side. After she was comfortable they were secure she snapped her arm blades into place and pulled and cut away his jacket .. as she did she saw him raise an eyebrow before he blurted out “I thought you wanted to see me arse, that’s to high to be my arse..” She ignored him and continued on tearing away his belt and pants leaving him in nothing but his underpants as he screamed “oh crap! Ahhh!”

She couldn’t help but smile on the inside as she walked around to the alter and picked up a rather sharp dagger. She spun it around in her palm several times as she simply asked him “anything else you wnat to say before I show you why its not polite to do what you did?” He stumbled over his words the fear on his face showed over his attempt to be cocky. “Well, now you come to mention it.. this seems rather a lot for just one arse slap.. can I have another go to make it kinda worth it?” She had enough.. She reached up and grabbed his pointy tail and with one swipe removed a portion of it with her dagger testing its sharpness before moving on to what she really had in mind. She decided to waste no more time on the pathetic man as she stepped forward and pressed her dagger deep into his back dragging it along making a giant V. Sh smiled as she saw the blood start to trickle form his wound. All she heard the man say as she felt the pain radiate from him “Okay I can take it..” She knew he was in pain.. the clenching teeth was always a true sign..but she let him continue to ramble on.. “just stay away from me face, chicks dig me face.”

She stepped back and nodded seeing the V on the outside of his back and reached into her back pocket with her free hand and pulled forth a rusty dagger.. Before he could say anything else she slammed it into his buttocks area hoping he would get the point. She spun him around as she spoke softly “Oh is that so?” in reply to him not wanting anything to happen to his face.. He immediately started to blurt out “errrmmm…nooo….”

She took a deep breath as she heard the cat’s light footsteps come across the grates.. She swore to herself that cat just didn’t know when to walk away.. she ignored her words.. “Snarf…You are a moron. Vish perhaps we can come to some understanding..” As she looked over at Mei she spun the man she called “Snarf” around. She grabbed ahold of his chin with her free handforcing his mouth open and then reached in and pulled out a portion of his tongue. He resisted..they always to.. She looked over her shoulder at Mei one final time as she sliced the tongue away. She simply told Mei “I’m done talking..” Mei gasped “NO!” She shoved Snaff back towards Mei and simply nodded towads the Pit door.. she was done.. If he decided to pull a stunt like that he would. She smiled and watched as they both flipped her off thinking that would do something to upset her as they made their way back to the Ryder base.. She simply rolled her eyes and walked off herself.
